Most all adult females with women’s health & wellness concerns particularly urinary incontinence or pelvic floor weakness.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

IS IT PAINFUL

A topical numbing medication will be applied for up to 45 minutes before the procedure. Comfort will be assessed throughout the procedure.
IS THERE ANY DOWNTIME?

Typically patients will feel uncomfortable for 1-3 days but can last up to a week. The area will appear red during this time and topical ointments will be applied several times per day. We ask the patient avoid very hot water for 2 days after the treatment. We ask patients to avoid sexual intercourse or the use of mechanical vibrator within the treated area for 2 days.
HOW MANY SESSIONS ARE REQUIRED?

The majority of patients have 3 sessions separated by 4-6 weeks; however, you can continue to build collagen for the next 3-6 months.
WILL THIS NEED TO BE REPEATED?

Collagen will continue to remodel and help with vaginal wall thickness for an additional 3-6 months. This only turns back the clock of normal aging. As we age, we lose collagen still. These treatments can be repeated and most women would want to repeat 1 treatment per year for maintenance.
